What are your predictions for the World Series?
Unseasonably warm and dry, with elevated fire dangers and water usage restrictions.

The Earle in Ann Arbor has a plate of roasted garlic with bread and cheese and vegetables that's wonderful.

What was the worst job you ever had?
Submitted by salaryman.
Working book rush at the Barnes and Noble in the Michigan Union one spring. The job was mostly straightening and shelving books, and no one ever wanted (or needed) any help on the sales floor. When book rush was over the job disappeared suddenly one day.
Not a career for me!
Ever run for office? (School, club, organization, politics, etc.) Did you get elected?
I was elected president of my freshman class in high school, does that count?
Most of the organizations I am part of now don't have officers or elections, just people who run the mailing list.
One of these years I'll run for library board in Ann Arbor.

I'm looking forward to my next trip to Canada. It's only an hour away by car, and Toronto is about five hrs.
The whole passports required thing is a hassle.
Ideally, I'd get to Toronto on public transit, but the Ann Arbor to Windsor stretch of that is tough - basically no transit service from Ann Arbor to Detroit of any use right now. That might just change but I'm not holding my breath.
The house bet at work is $5 CDN - so I'll come back with a stack of Canadian fives. They trade at par in the office.
What's your favorite radio station, past or present?
A couple of them....
KLF Radio, the voice of the Keewenaw Liberation Front. Ultra low power FM broadcasting from a shack in the Upper Peninsula, using a heavily hacked up FM radio as a transmitter and a geared down reel to reel running very slowly as a broadcast source.
CBC Radio's "Brave New Waves" with Brent Banbury.
WJLB's "Electrifyin Mojo" in 1983.
Radio Havana Cuba on shortwave while the Berlin Wall was falling.
and currently, WCBN (all the way to the left on your dial), student radio in Ann Arbor.
Tell us a little something about your first car. Do you have any photos you can share?
Submitted by tamara.
1984 Honda Accord hatchback, light blue. Drove it into the ground a little bit prematurely by not taking quite as good care of it as I might, but it lasted a long time. My brother helped me buy it - and I would gladly have him along on any future car-buying expeditions.
I'm at about a once a decade run on car purchasing, our current vehicle is only my 3d.
What was the last wedding you went to? Were you in the wedding?
My cousin Andy's wedding a few weeks ago - I flew there with Saul, we had a good time, saw lots of cousins, rode the St. Louis light rail system.
